For private schools, there are three schools in Lynnfield that educate students from preschool through grade 8: Our Lady of Assumption, Messiah Lutheran Day School and Tower Day School. In addition, Lynnfield is just fifteen minutes from St. John’s Prep School in Danvers, which is a top-rated, private high school for boys.

Lynn Woods offers trails for hiking, biking and running as well as wildlife observation, a rose a garden and other nature sites. In between all of its great natural landscapes, Lynnfield also coasts three golf courses. Two of the golf courses, Reedy Meadow and King Rail, are municipal 9-hole golf courses. The third, Sagamore Spring Golf Club, is a privately run 18-hole golf course.
